Civil War Army Field Antique Binoculars Sportiere Paris.These were Beautiful Field Glasses and are in the 1860's. Leather is pretty spotty on both sides of the glasses but it is available at some camera supply places. Engraved 'Army & Navy' on each of the brass lens holders. Day Night Glass marked on one eye cup. Binoculars seem to work o.k. and screw focus moves freely, but there is a lot of play in the focus mechaism. Heavy Tin/Copper alloy construction.
